My dirth of posts has been due to some intensive sleep training with Wolfgang. On Tuesday we went to the Tweddle sleep school to teach Wolf how to put himself to sleep so that when he wakes up in the middle of a nap and is still tired, he can go back to sleep on his own without being rocked. It's an awesome service and completely free, but it takes some work and a bit of crying to get them there. Unforunately Wolf was just taking a nap and the rubbish truck came and woke him up, so I'm off to deal with that.
The little guy is 6 months today. Amazing how time flies!
Aw, he is lovely, you are obviously doing a good job! One of my boys had sleep problems for a long time, like 18 months, I wish we had been able to get on top of it before it became a problem but we were living in the UK where there are no sleep clinics etc. In the end it was cranial osteopathy that helped us, made a huge difference, although he is still a natural early riser but totally adorable too of course! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks man! We were desperate to get the sleep issues sorted out before I went back to work. It would be a nightmare otherwise. I'd have to be at work by 7:30am and not be home till around 5:30, so without adequate sleep for everyone and more spaced out feeds, it would be very hard.
ReplyDeleteWow they don't have sleep clinics in the UK? That's so hard. It was like a godsend. You are a super mum! With business and travel and big moves but you still manage to raise a couple of adorable and clever boys! Definitely a mum to admire.
